If you are looking for a fun activity appropriate for all dogs, try dog parkour! Whether you are safer at home or on a walk in your neighborhood, practicing dog parkour will keep your dog active and enriched and develop your relationship. Dog parkour, sometimes called “urban agility,” teaches dogs to be brave and to use their bodies thoughtfully. During this recorded webinar, we will introduce the fundamentals of dog parkour, including how to train behaviors, keep your dog safe, and earn titles from the International Dog Parkour Association.
Your Instructor
Jessie has been with Dog's Best Friend since 2015 and currently divides her time between family dog training classes, dog sports classes, and private training in essential household manners. Through her youth, she rode competitively, always partnered with unlikely ponies and horses--and always valuing movement and fun in training. As a dog trainer, those values inform her approach to teaching, learning, and interspecies communication.
Between her three dogs, Jessie competes or participates in agility, flyball, parkour, nosework, TEAM, and tricks training. She is a certified dog parkour instructor and title evaluator through the International Dog Parkour Association.
